Are you ready to die?

If your heart would cease to beat right now, and make you feel like you will die in a moment, could you accept death calmly? Could you say, that you lived a good life? Or, are you rather living overlooking the fact, that sooner or later you will die?

I'm not writing this to scare anyone, but to admonish. Most of the people today live not realizing that sooner or later their life will end. This life is really short.

Be good to other people. By being bad to others, would you be able to accept death calmly?

Reconcile with God. If you don't believe in Him and you want some proof that He exists, I cannot give you any proof, becouse there is written that:

The only way to know that God created the world and us, is faith, so there is no sense at all to search for the scientific evidence of that.

So we have to not only believe that God exists, but also that he rewards those who seek Him! And the greatest reward, which He has prepared for those who seek Him, is eternal life.

Man is born not by his will or power - you don't exist thanks to yourself. God gives the gift of life. How great is that gift! And how few people realize how great gift they have! And how many people are not fulfilling God's will and by it heading to lost that gift!

If our entire life and all we go through would end in death, it would really make no sense. Therefore, I believe, becouse my heart tells me so, that God exists, that He is our creator and that, as our good Father, through the sacrifice of His Son, He will give eternal life to those who live according to His will.

Who else can know what is good for us than the One, who created us? Does a little child, without parental care, know to be careful near a roadway? A child is only protected in this world if is obedient to attentive parents. Likewise, we must listen to God, lest a bad thing happens to us.

So talk to God as often as possible, He cares and He helps. If something is bothering you, ask Him about it. Doesn't a little child ask parents about everything? And parents are happy to answer him. Likewise God willingly will answer all your questions. Who seeks, he finds, as Jesus said:

Apologize to God for sinning against Him. Shouldn't a little child, if he has done something against the wishes of his parents, apologize to them and quit disobeying? And parents will forgive him. Likewise, God will forgive you all your sins, if you regret and apologize to Him, but you need to be sincere, and sin no more. God sacrificed His Son Jesus, who died for the sins of those who will turn away from their sin. And thanks to His sacrifice those, who repent and don't sin anymore will be saved, but as He said, there will be only a few of them. Would you want to be one of the few?

Thank God for everything He is giving you, give thanks every day. All that you have you got from Him. Shouldn't a little child be thankful for everything, that his parents are giving to him?

People are constantly unhappy and dissatisfied, and are not appreciative, they don't consider and are not thankful for what they do have. While acquiring and pursuing their dreams they still don't find happiness.

They never have enough, they always need something new and something better, because they search for happiness in the wrong places, they trust in the wrong things and they are not finding what they are looking for. They are unaware of what they truly need, and all they need is to get right with God, because only in Him can find peace, love and true happiness.

Everyone has something for which he should thank God. We must realize the one thing that is right and sufficient for happiness. And that one thing is a reconciliation with God, and the promise of Jesus Christ who said that He will never leave us nor forsake us. The reason of lack of satisfaction and unhappiness is that people left Jesus, and therefore are not receiving from Him what gives true joy, peace and security.

God really knows what we need, because He is our Creator and our Father. Trust him and let Him lead you in your life, and everything you need in life He will give to you. Don't parents give their children everything they need? Little children don't know what they need but their parents truly know, their needs.

A child on his own doesn't understand what is right and wrong, unless he learns from his parents. Likewise, we must learn from God what is right and wrong.

Do reconcile with God, trust Him, live for Him and with Him every day. If you will know God and live according to His will, then death will not be a scary thing for you, but you will be able to accept it calmly. Because then, being reconciled with God, death will be for you a joyful meeting with Him.
